Kontientālās hokeja līgas regulārās sezonas spēlē Rīgas Dinamo piekāpās Maskavas CSKA 1:2 un nenodrošināja vietu Gagarina kausa izcīņā. Vienīgie vārti mājiniekiem gūti pēc Aināra Podziņa metiena.
